Asian Chicken Bun-Less Burgers

Healthy eating is not about starving yourself or depriving yourself, it’s about finding healthy alternatives that incorporate the flavors you love. When all you want is a hamburger, this healthy alternative will satisfy your cravings! Whether you are throwing these burgers together for a family dinner or grilling them up at a summer cookout, they are sure to be a big hit!
Ingredients:
2 pounds ground chicken
3 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 teaspoons wasabi mustard
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 packages portobello mushrooms
3 onions, sliced
oil for sautéing (minimal)
1/2 cup white wine
Directions:
Mix the ground chicken together with the honey, wasabi, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and soy sauce
in a medium mixing bowl, tossing to combine.
Form into 6 patties, place on parchment paper, and chill for 1 hour, to set.
Heat a pan over medium heat (adjust heat as necessary) and Sauté the mushrooms and onions in oil. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Fry the patties in the same pan, turning once until done (About 6 to 8 minutes per side or until cooked all the way through)
When the burgers are cooked, put all ingredients back in the pan, add the white wine, and let cook all together.
